Brand new to Go. Invested a few hours in reading books from the library and watching YouTube videos from various channels. Installed and briefly poked around a few iOS Go apps. Tried GoMagic's free first course and signed up for Silver right away, as I could see that this content is the straightest line to making enough progress to stay interested in the game.

A very good introduction. It would be great if the different clocks are explained too - e.g. what is "Byo Yomi"? When we play on OGS should we choose Chinese or Japanese rules?

This course is an excellent presentation of the basic principles of go. Videos and quizzes alternate, helping the viewer to learn and remember everything... I very strongly suggest this course to all beginners.
