Excellent course! Vadim makes this crucial and daunting topic really fun. The course gives a good general introduction and encouragement to continue to 'solve puzzles', which I think is the perfect approach.One star less for publishing the course half-finished, which is didactically unhelpful (once started, it must be possible to do the whole thing) and frustrating. As a whole, it's superb.

Thanks for another great course. Earlier this year, I started putting more effort into L&D study. The course introduces L&D fundamentals with excellent examples and puzzles to solve. When I completed the final quizzes, I could tell I've already learned some new ideas. Very much looking forward to Stanislaw's course. Thanks again Vadim.

What a great course. The lessons are very well-balanced and paced. I can't wait for Volume 2 to be released!

Great course, lots of useful info. I wish it was even longer.The course made reflect that GoMagic should have a 'trial mode' in which I can try out, e.g. life and death sequences on my own (like on a real board) without the computer instantly telling me if I got it right or got it wrong. For those us who struggle a bit with visualization, this would be a helpful crutch.

This is an awesome course for beginner and not so beginner go players who don't like tsumego/puzzles so much or think they are bored. This course will change that dumb idea. That's not my case, but I enjoyed so much, anyway. I'm waiting for the second life & death course.

The course was enjoyable and had a lot of genuinely useful information. As constructive feedback, I would have liked more guidance on how to recognize life-and-death situations without calculating everything. It would be helpful to learn clear patterns or principles that let us identify the key point just by looking at the position, since it’s not always obvious, especially for beginners.

This is a great course that in my opinion should have taken priority over the more advanced course that this team has produced. I appreciate the fact that they also want to cater for more advanced players, but this course would have helped me so much six months ago. I pretty much had to figure this out on my own in the first steps of my Go journey.

This review is based on the first half of the course available so far. This course is a nice balance of analytical and intuitive reading. By "intuitive" I don't mean guessing but instead an instinct for recognizing and gravitating to important shapes. I look forward to future installments!
