Let's review a few more games for extra practice
(19)

After learning the rules of Go or perhaps some basic techniques, it’s normal if you still feel that a lot of questions were left unanswered. In fact no matter how much you learn, there is an element of mystery that’s always there. In this course we’ll review a few more games on 9×9 and 13×13 and at the same time answer some of the most commonly asked questions on the basics of Go. Let’s lift the veil of mystery together.

Suitable for: 25–15 kyu. For those who just finished “The Rules of Go” or “The Fundamentals of Go on 13×13”.

A big thanks to our problem composer Hoàng for finding great example games for this course.

Great course to learn how to review your own games

can´t wait for the next reviews, should be a weekly thing.

It was a good course, but I think I should repeat it again after a long time. There were a few elements that I didn't fully understand. Maybe next time. Nevertheless, a very good course.

Great course, like always with Vadim.

This is a great refresher course for those smaller boards. It’s helped me see potential issues in a game

I've done a number of the more advanced courses and I still think this is essential viewing. It uses games on 9x9 and 13x13 by players of different levels and reviews them, tasking you with finding better moves in many situations. It goes through opening, middle and end game. I find my end game a bit sharper now.

Another entertaining and informative course by Vadim. Good introduction/refresher on endgame sequences too!

Useful in order to understand in which order end game moves should be played

Loved the course though in game 6 of the course there was a mid lesson question that said i answered incorrectly though i actually played the same “correct” answer shown in the video afterward

Although I am not a beginner anymore, I always like to see basic techniques and practice a bit. Still made some mistakes, so there's always room to learn. Yesterday I lost a game by not playing safe in the endgame when my territory was invaded. I should have watched this course before!

Wonderful beginner course. Wish there was something like this sooner when I had to learn the fundamental lessons the hard way. Nevertheless, you never are truly done learning and practicing fundamentals, so I find this course beneficial for any kyu player as a charming reminder and fun practice.

Nicely done as ever!

Nice course with a lot of suggestions and exercise

This should be useful for beginners who play on smaller boards. The 9x9 part was particularly interesting, and I look forward to seeing the second part. There is not much information available on these board sizes compared to the standard 19x19.
