The course was designed very well. The interactive quizzes helped reinforce the video lessons. I learned a lot and am a much better player.
The course itself was great, albeit a big ramp up in difficulty from the previous ones. My only critique is with the quiz interface itself. It would be great if there was an optional setting to confirm your moves. Now that there are whole board and longer problems, it's much easier to miss click if using a smartphone. I lost quite a few points that way ☹️
The part about the nakade shapes and seki was eye-opening! I wouldn't have thought it's possible to live in some on those examples! The quiz questions are good and some are quite challenging! I scored 84%
It is beneficial for winning games, and now I've won games by more than 100 points!
Super
Good introduction to the basics of go on a 19x19 board
This is a good introduction to the fundamentals of Go
That was a great course teaching many fundamentals in easy digestable chunks. If I have to improve on some of the quizzes - having more explanation why the wrong answer is wrong would be great. There were in only a few places but it was pretty educational. In any case keep up the good work!
An appropriate step up from the 13x13 course.
This was a great course that helped me to improve my skills from the opening all to the endgame. I especially liked the sections about life and death of groups including the nakade shapes. Now I am playing much more confidently when I have to respond to invasions. Imho a course that helps every double digit kyu to improve.
Great way to learn the fundamentals
All important concepts in one course with nice exercises to reinforce the lesson. I also like the style of the videos, the explanations are very easy to understand, stones are placed slowly so you can think yourself and lots of cuts to shorten the unnecessary stuff like removing captured stones and rewind a variation. I also love the questions in between that you can answer youself on the go board
Great course! I've got 18 kyu after finishing it + only first part of the skill tree! P.S. Endgame problems are top, helped a lot to develop focus/attention
I like the way Vadim structures his thoughts. He is able to talk about complex things with simple words. My favorite part of the course is review of a real game with Vadim telling about main ideas of the moves. I would definitely like to see more videos or courses with detailed games reviews from Vadim. Thank you!
As good as the 9x9 and 13x13 ones. Excellent!
necessary course after you've done the rules and basic for 13x13 THANKS FOR THIS!
Great course! Now I somehow have to remember all that information...
it's fine
Vadim is just the best.
Seems to me, it starts easy, but it become hard! Life and death 🖤💀, Tactical fighting ⚔️🤼, you need to follow it! ✅🔥
