Where in the World is Go Magic?

Go Magic has been an independent project since 2019, built and run from Tbilisi, Georgia, with contributors from across Europe and Asia. Go brings people together across borders, and so should the place where they learn it — whoever they are and wherever they’re from.

Go Magic is owned and operated by Anton Proskurin, registered as an individual entrepreneur in Georgia (ID 345622472). Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (merchant of record).

The Founder

Anton Proskurin — Go player since 2005, 2 dan EGF. Based in Tbilisi, Georgia since 2021.

In 2015 Anton opened a Go school. Four years later it grew into Go Magic: the same idea, but online and open to everyone — good Go teaching shouldn’t depend on where you happen to live.

Music and computer science by education; teaching, entrepreneurship and photography by passion. An odd mix — until you try explaining a joseki to a nine-year-old. Then every piece of it comes in handy.
