The course was one of the strongest and most important courses I’ve taken, and this topic can truly make a difference in anyone’s level. However, as constructive feedback, given how complex this subject is, it would be much better to explain every move: why it is played and why another move isn’t better, rather than simply extending atari without explaining why it is always necessary.

Game changer. I cannot look at stones and groups the same way I did. Aji, thickness, weakness, sabaki… it changed everything.

I love the lessons. The quizzes suck though. I think more effort, and I meant, much more, should be used to fix the quizzes. I know that since it is a very difficult course, it is hard to be perfect, but I will just give my constructive review here. Fix the quizzes and it will be a five star.

Good course, difficult problems

This is one of the must-watch video series on GoMagic. Especially in the AI era, attachments have become so commonplace, it is vital to know how to handle them and when to do them yourself and Alex does an amazing job in this course, pulling many examples from pro games. I will be watching this one multiple times.

One of the 2 courses on go magic that I'll keep coming back to for the next 4-5 years. Just an excellent course that can push someone beyond the dan barrier. I'd love to see more courses by Mr. Alexander.

The course is fantastic, the content especially but also the presentation was enjoyable. I was a bit afraid that the English dubbing would decrease enjoyment, but it didn’t at all! I am a 4k and it covered so many of my weaknesses. It was challenging and I will need to take it several more times, before really understanding everything. But since I aspire to become a 1d, it is exactly what I need.

Some of the later lessons had pauses for the mid-video quizzes, and the video would come out of full-screen, but no quiz/question would come up. All-in-all, the course was incredible. I will be watching it several times. Thank you for the great information, and keep it up!

i found this challenging but the examples were very educational

This course was amazing, helped me in a lot of positions in real games, also i liked the english dub, i could concentrate better on the board
