Why did black connect as the last move couldn’t black have ended with one more territory?
No. A stone in atari doesn’t get you any points.
By any chance in any game after ending the game and while counting points all the territory filled by prisoners or captured stones and still remains stones to be put it in the board ?. Or simply any negative points winning in this case white gets zero points.
Scores don’t go negative – if the count works out that low, it just gets capped at zero rather than dropping into the minus.
