Jamie Tang

Jamie Tang began learning Go in Taiwan in August 2019. Since then, Jamie led the high school-level American Go Honor Society as president, co-founded the American Collegiate Go Association, coordinated prizes for the 2023 U.S. Go Congress, hosted the 2024 Michigan Go Championship, and wrote for Go Magic. As outreach director for the Evanston Go Club’s Chicago Open and Chicago Rapid Championships, Jamie helps organize the largest weekend tournaments in North America. Beyond the board, you can find Jamie studying in college, running outdoors and failing to quit Go. Jamie looks forward to capturing the inclusive spirit of the Go community.
