Fuseki is the most creative and enigmatic part of the game. There are thousands of options and you never know what this or that move will lead to. How to build a strategy at the beginning of the game?

In this course you will discover which moves in the opening are considered big and which ones are even more important than that. We will take a look at efficiency, choosing a favorite opening and some of the ideas behind the classic opening moves.

Suitable for: 16–7k who are already familiar with the main principles of playing on 19×19.

I got much more confident in my opening moves. Still some more exercises would have been great.

This course has so far been the one which helped my game the most. I don't feel completely lost in the opening now.

Definitely good ! Wish it had more quizzes, though. Not because they are bad, but just to get more practice. I like the explanations given when doing the quizzes.

Excellent. I was especially interested by the second part.

great course

Underrated course. You can really set yourself up well for the game with a strong opening. I really liked the video with the AI suggestions and how it transformed the Josekis over the years.

An excellent course (as usual with Go Magic)!

Great course! I'll need to come back when I've had more experience

Really good course that organize my understanding of opening.

I cam here (for a second time) partly because Go Academy / Fuseki says this is the related course, and there several problems leave me totally at a loss as to why the right answer is right, and they offer *no explanations*. While this course seems in itself to make a lot of sense, I am still left without the answers I sought. This is probably a problem with the skill tree rather than this course.

(12k) Great as a first course on Opening strategy. I very much liked the different approaches: Common and "classical" opening principles, modern AI modifications, and completely bonkers openings that go against all of it, but might still work if done correctly. Vadim (& writers) do a great job of explaining how to handle all the different aspects, and how to think about them: As helpful guidelines

Great content! Another one that will take some time to absorb.

It is always good to have visuals to anything I read. Books are good, but books and videos are better.

Good course. I did not find it as interesting as some of the other courses. But no real complaints.
